changes to Unilink timetables from 24 September

with the new timetables fast approaching, we’ve got all the detail for you here, so you don’t miss your bus!


Don’t forget the best way to make sure you know where your bus is, is to use the real-time feature on our website where you will get live times straight to your phone.  Why not add us to the home screen of your phone?  Or, if you prefer printed timetables are of course available from the Unilink shop.

U1

Afternoon times are slightly amended to reflect the growing traffic congestion in Portswood and Swaythling areas on Monday to Fridays. Following student feedback there will be an extra late bus every day at 0005 from Highfield to Central Station and also at 0030 from Central Station to Highfield and Eastleigh.

U2B buses will follow a new route around Bassett Green from Lobelia Road turning right into Bassett Green Road, then Stoneham Lane (for City Gateway Halls), returning via Burgess Road to Highfield. There will now be more buses travelling to Chamberlain Halls.

The 0745 U6C bus from General Hospital will leave earlier at 0740. The times of most afternoon buses are slightly amended to reflect continuing traffic congestion on Mondays to Fridays.

Don't forget that the U1N still offers late buses back from Leisure World, City Centre and the clubs in London Road back to Portswood, Highfield, Wessex Lane and Eastleigh.  Special night bus fares apply.  And don’t forget if you’ve run out of cash on your night out we now take contactless payments on board #paythequickway
